Mumbai Pachchai Exhibition
Pachchai organised at Chhatrapati Shivaji Museum (Formerly Prince of Wales Museum, M.G. Road, Mumbai during February 26 - 29 2004, a total of 17 organizations/crafts people participated in the exhibition. Given below are the list of participants and the crafts represented. This worksh was organised by Indus Tree Crafts Foundation in association with COHANDS, New Delhi sponsored by Office of Development Commissioner (Handicrafts), Ministry of Textiles, Govt. of India

Marketing and Publicity:
Mailer, ad of Mumbai Pachchai
Mailers:
As part of publicity and marketing efforts, an exclusive mailer was
designed (enclosed) for the exhibition. The mailers were specially printed
at Hyderabad for quality. 3500 mailers were couriered to Bombay for
mailing. Mailing lists were obtained from Jehangir Art gallery, Bajaj art
gallery and Cimroza at a nominal price.
Advertisements
appeared in leading newspapers -Times of India and Miday.
Press
notes were sent out to over 15 newspapers, TV stations prior to the
exhibition and faxed again a day before the exhibition.
The
inauguration and exhibition was well covered by a number of newspapers.
